Three weeks earlier, Skye had been in New Orleans, chasing down Tennyson, when she stumbled into the arms of a handsome British journalist. Charming, educated, and incredibly handsome, Brick Carmichael set her pulse sputtering the moment she met him. After one perfect night, she said farewell to Brick, sure their paths would never cross again…only to have him shows up on the set of Who Wants To Marry A President as one of the reporters invited to cover the show.

Brick Carmichael has known Skye Tremayne’s true identity since before they met. While being a journalist makes for good cover, his real job is to find Tennyson Ford, and the monster oil deposit he knows about. Like Skye, Brick is also corporate spy, working for a rival company, with a rival client. Fortunately for Brick, he has the advantage of knowing who is rival is. His job should be easy: keep tabs on Skye, learn what she knows, and get to Tennyson ahead of her. Instead, he finds himself falling for the woman he’s supposed to betray, and looking to protect her from a vicious politician who isn’t everything she appears to be.

Unbeknownst to them both, the hunt for Tennyson Ford isn’t the only cloak and dagger story going on behind the scenes. Vice President Candace Hutchens is intensely ambitious, and has plans for the world she’d like to see come to fruition. No matter what means she must use to accomplish them. That includes killing the President of the United States…and setting up Skye as the fall guy.
