About this listen
Amid the tumultuous landscape of World War II, a squad of battle-hardened US paratroopers led by the unwavering Captain Terry Heller is thrust into a dire situation. Their mission: to secure a strategically vital bridge in a remote Italian village. Fate, however, has other plans.
Their plane, part of a larger formation, is mercilessly attacked by German fighter planes. With their aircraft ablaze, only eight soldiers managed to parachute to safety. They find themselves scattered across a snow-covered field, miles away from their intended drop zone. Despite the chaos and confusion, Captain Heller decides to stay the course and reach their objective.
As they finally reach the abandoned, explosive-rigged bridge, the squad is puzzled by the eerie silence surrounding them. There are no signs of life, only a village seemingly deserted by Italian villagers and German troops. Their confusion deepens as they uncover stolen valuables, half-eaten meals, and a trail of blood, yet no bodies.
A journal found in the village hints at a visit from a high-ranking officer and his enigmatic unit, which had struck terror into the writer's heart, though the reasons for this fear remain undisclosed. Val Talbot, a squad member resistant to the mission from the start, encounters a starving German soldier in the attic, who reveals the dreadful fate of the German occupation force and the impending horror that awaits them as night falls.
With the arrival of darkness and the rising of the moon, the true terror is revealed— genetically-created Nazi werewolves.
