The AI voice bothered me, but I wanted to hear the story so I did not give up on the book.
I enjoyed the book. The AI reading still doesn’t replace the human voice. I have listened to many of Tanya Kappes’ books and miss the voice inflections.

A delightful surprise!
I've so enjoyed getting to know some of Tonya's earlier characters, and I'm really grateful for the AI option to be able to listen to it. I know some folks complain, but I don't think it's bad at all! I listen at 1.2 speed and just get sucked into the stories!! This one had lots of twists and turns that kept me on my toes! I'm going to get the next book in the series, as soon as I finish writing this review! 😁

AI Voice disconcerting
AI version unlistenable. Can't say much about the story because there is no difference in voices between the characters making it impossible to follow. This was a free audio book through my Audibke membership.
