When wandering Iraq War veterans Kelton Jager and ex-military working dog Azrael shelter under an overpass from a storm one spring evening, a motorcycle gang makes the fatal mistake of trying to rough them up. Iraq War veterans Kelton Jager and Azrael attempt to integrate back into American society pursuing a job at a new federal facility on a tip from a local veterinarian. Another witness had come forward, saying they were sure they had seen someone of Tom’s description near one of the old mine pit lakes. It was going on two years now since his disappearance, but of course, anything was possible. After all, while the clues had gone cold and witness memories faded, there was one thing that doesn’t die away, the scent of death. And that is where the dogs come in.

“Not Yet Ready For Prime Time,” Narration
Mispronunciations and wrong inflections abound; it’s VERY jarring! Really detracts from what would otherwise have been a decent book. And, there was no discernible difference between the voices of a 30 year old man, and a 16 year old girl!
