About this listen

BOOK 4 IN THE GRIPPING SUPERNATURAL SERIES BY THE BESTSELLING AUTHOR OF THE CHRONICLES OF ST MARY'S

I will send the serpent.
I always send the serpent.
It's kind of my signature move.

Things are not going well for Elizabeth Cage.
It all started with the Christmas she can't quite remember.

There's blood on her doorstep every morning.
Something unpleasant is heading her way.
And then there's the sinister note threatening her life.
The one that seems to have been written by Elizabeth herself . . .

Twisty, dark and incredibly gripping, the Elizabeth Cage novels are perfect for fans of Sarah Painter and Genevieve Cogman.

Still laughing at the end. Beyond entertaining. As always, wonderful characters and plots. Thank for for making my days brighter.

Another gem!!

Jodi Taylor is currently writing four series, and I am reading every one of them. All her books contain the best in snarky humor and sarcasm. Ms. Taylor's characters are both endearing and likable, making the reader wish they were real, so that they could spend more time with them.

Of all of Ms. Taylor's series, I find the Elizabeth Cage series the most complex and different. While it contains interesting and likable characters, humor, and excitement, it is also dark, containing horrors and evil.

While my least favorite of all Ms. Taylor's series, Elizabeth Cage still achieves 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5 stars, and when compared to most books I read, it far outshines the majority of them. Zara Ramm is one of my favorite narrators, and I love her storytelling.

It had been almost four years since I read Long Shadows, and I was forced to reread it to refresh my memory. Bad Moon was exciting, funny, and complex. I eagerly await the next installment as I want to know what happens next.

Interesting and complex

Excellent once again. Sometimes I think there was a little too much action - different people and events spilling into each other. Wonderful narrator.

Lots of excitement and old friends (and enemies) with new stories.

I always anxiously await for the next book in any of Jodi Taylor's exciting series. Bad Moon did not disappoint and I continue to root for Elizabeth Cage. Nigel the ninja has won my heart! Zara Raam's excellent narration brings out the best of each character!

Excellent Narration and Continuation of a Great Series!

I'm a huge Jodi Taylor fan and the remarkable life of Elizabeth Cage never disappoints. Twists and turns, marrying fantasy with reality - always an enjoyable read.

Elizabeth Cafe is back at it!

A long awaited return to the world of Elizabeth Cage and her entourage in a world similar but very different from our own. I have to say that I enjoyed this book, perhaps, more than the previous entries in the series. I can only say that this volume was similar to the previous entries but much more so. More action. More mystery. More spooky stuff. And more humor. You ricochet between each of those throughout the book. And, I must say, the last chapter is laugh out loud funny as everyone decompresses from the recent events. I anxiously wonder what happens next? I will be there to find out as soon as I hear about it. You should do the same. Highly recommended.

Oliver series are wonderful.

Another excellent book in the series

Zara Ramm is my favorite voice actor. Period. Brava!!
The characters are a lot of fun, but the Cage stories are a little over the top for my taste. Paranormal, occult, old gods and demigods — very tough to navigate the waters of “believability” vs. “consistent execution within that alternate reality.” Having supporting characters pop up with just the right thing at the right time to manage a narrow escape gets old fast.
Even so, I LOVE Jodi Taylor’s writing and will continue to buy and re-read every single one. (Audio, then text.)

Zara Ramm is the best!

Jodi Taylor’s blend of cozy chaos and spine-chilling thrills proves Elizabeth’s no damsel—just a delightfully snarky force reckoning with a Bad Moon rising.

This series gets better with every book. Can’t wait for the next one!
