About this listen
They infiltrate every inch of campus, and its Kings, Alex Mitchell and Teddy Parker, are not immune. When Teddy’s twin brother, Tommy, is murdered, the foundation starts to crack and secrets threaten to tumble out. Everyone has something to hide, but someone within the golden gates surrounding Veritas will do anything to keep their secrets from being revealed.
As more students turn up dead and the local police scramble to apprehend the killer, one officer struggles to keep her past from interfering with the case. And while Teddy tries to protect everyone, Alex’s primary goal is to protect Teddy…winning him over would just be a perk. Through murder, blackmail, cryptic messages, ill-timed love confessions, and too many games to count, only one thing is certain: No one is safe.

Awful
I can’t even believe this is a book. It’s really so bad. I feel bad that it is so bad…

Absolutely Awful Fake Narration
I cannot be sure that strong narration would not have improved my impression of the book but it was an absolute nonsense yawn overcome with tedium, Similarly, I cannot be sure I would not have liked the characters more if it was not obsessional, manipulative queer nonsense parading as a story when there was no story or evidence of genuine connection between the characters. Not identifying a book as Queer or Erotica is simply not acceptable. All these genres have their place but a customer deserves to know. This is simply not a 'Mystery Romance'.
