Story
Jack Walker and Michael Talbot come from two worlds; the same, yet different. They both find themselves transported into an alien one, where things aren’t as they seem. While it appears similar to the ones they come from, there are some terrifying differences. Is it a dream? Or has reality been somehow warped? Jack comes from a world filled with nocturnal creatures that were once human, but now seek to destroy the last vestiges of humanity.

Barker devotees have been waiting for The Scarlet Gospels with baited breath for years, and it's everything they've begged for and more.

John Birmingham is the master of alternate history adventure - and now he's mastered a new genre with the volcanically fast-paced and wildly inventive Dave Hooper urban fantasy series. The series is anchored by a thrilling high concept: An oil rig opens a rift deep in the ocean that unleashes terrifying monsters into the world. But perhaps its coolest asset is its hero, Dave Hooper, a tough, bleakly funny, down-on-his luck oil rig worker with an unlikely destiny as a monster-slayer and world savior.

Five years ago, his dragon gave her life defending the monster-ridden remnants of Marble, and ever since, his ability to connect empathically to another dragon had been as broken as his heart. Ooogh ooogh?
What did you like best about Ahsila: Destroyer of Worlds? What did you like least?
I thought the first half or so of the book wasn't particular funny, but the second was pretty entertaining. The narrator really sold it.
What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)
There was a reaction alright, but not really sure what it was.
Which scene was your favorite?
The one with the fighter jets and the exploding phallus.
Did Ahsila: Destroyer of Worlds inspire you to do anything?
Look for more books narrated by Stephen Frost, but unfortunately it looks like he is just starting out.
