Good content but the narrator sounds uninspired
Ironically, the book's author and narrator could've used a hell of a lot more motivation and expression during his reading of this book. That said, the material is solid, concise, and positive.

Love this author!
If you could sum up 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself in three words, what would they be?
Very practical, hands-on book that I go back again and again when I hit a wall.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The author reads his own work and has a great voice.
Have you listened to any of Steve Chandler’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
I've read a couple of others, this one is my favorite.
What did you learn from 100 Ways to Motivate Yourself that you would use in your daily life?

I find the "boring" narrative very refreshing.
I am listening to the audible version of this book as I write this. Contrary to some other reviews, I find the boring, blah...whatever you want to call it. But, I have been pretty unmotivated for a while since a breakup from a long relationship. I've listened to so many audible books with people who sounded like they were SO upbeat...but it sounded false to me. I didn't want someone on the other end to try and inspire me with all the "hype", excited sounding voice.....and so on. I'm already feeling that this audible book IS going to motivate me...or I should say, help ME to motivate MYSELF. It's helping me see I don't need these "get over your breakup" books; I just need to get motivated to begin a new future and the only one who can do that is ME. One thing among many that has helped me see some things that are holding me back is "turn off the TV"...I've been "hiding" in mindless TV for a while now...it's NOT going to be turned on today. I've already been motivated by several suggestions and I have not even finished listening to this book. I love it that he is not "acting" excited, sounding so "upbeat" that it makes me want to stop listening before I finish...he's just speaks in a matter-of-fact sort of way and I find it very easy to listen and take his suggestions to heart. I also love the fact that he doesn't have any psychological "babble" inserted, no history of how psychologists have discovered WHY I'm not motivated. I didn't want to hear any of that...I've heard it all before and I just don't care. I just wanted suggestions...and that's what he gives....#1 through #100 and he explains in a short manner ways to put that suggestion into action. I'm going to be listening to this one over and over and over and....well, you get the idea. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants WAYS to get motivated without any mindless psychobabble.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would absolutely recommend this audiobook to anyone. I've listened to it twice already and will listen to it a lot more. Every one of the "100 ways" is red meat for success.
What did you like best about this story?
Every bit of it is true and should be taken very seriously if one intends to move forward.
What about Steve Chandler’s performance did you like?
Steve did a great job.

One that keeps sticking with me is the 4 circles which keeps you on track for daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly.

Worth it!
100 great ideas; most will resonate with you; a few will truly spark greatness within you, if you let it. Author sounds unenthusiastic while reading this, but don't let that keep you from hearing this great message.

Pretty good tips
These are valid things I can do to improve my life, easy and practical. I'm glad to listen to this book once in awhile. Maybe I will actually do some of them.

This is the On Target Tool to motivate
It is spot on, precise, well-grounded in real examples, with a clear no nonsense approach, but so encouraging. You know the author has been there, done that and overcome it. It works for motivating and that's what counts.

Excellent Information, worth the money!
This is a great book with priceless, timeless information! A collection of ideas/words to live by. I would have given this 5 stars, but the narration left a lot to be desired. That said, this will be one book that you go back to over and over to refresh your ideas!
