Yoalah Brinson was born on January 12, 1994, at the Soroka Medical Center Hospital in Beersheba, Israel. Raised in Dimona, Israel, on HaAliya street, she grew up in a small community founded by the African Hebrew Israelites, led by their spiritual leader Ben Ammi Ben-Israel. While attending school, Yoalah juggled acting in Israeli movies, TV shows, commercials, and fashion projects. She graduated high school in 2010 and later pursued a college education in web and graphics design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California, graduating in 2015. In 2018, Yoalah permanently moved to the U.S. and founded several successful businesses, including Queen With Attitude (a clothing line), Courage Crowned Production (a TV and movie streaming service), Artist On Wheels (an art gallery), and Graphics On Wheels (a graphic design company), serving as the Founder and CEO. In 2023, Yoalah made history by becoming the first disabled, Black, Middle Eastern model signed by major agencies such as Gamut Management, Runway of Dreams, MAVN Models Management, and Models Direct. She quickly gained prominence in the fashion industry, posing in campaigns for renowned brands like Moschino, Collina Strada, and Sephora. Her New York Fashion Week debut for Moschino's Spring show, where she became the first model in a wheelchair to grace the runway for a major fashion house, marked a breakthrough moment, pushing diversity in the industry. Currently focused on writing and modeling, Yoalah has recently published her first book, "The Ghost In The Crater," and a horror film titled "The Return Of Soraya M: A Story Of Revenge." Widely recognized for her contributions to the entertainment industry, Yoalah has amassed a plethora of award wins and nominations. Her features in numerous magazines and media outlets, including Brainz Magazine, Swag Magazine, NBC News, Essence, and E! News, highlight her significant impact and influence in shaping the narrative around diversity and representation.
