Dr. Todd von Helms has degrees from Duke University, SMU, the University of Texas at Austin and several other institutions. He has taught spiritual formation, Christian doctrine, and the History of Christianity at the collegiate level for nearly twenty years. Prior to becoming an author and popular speaker, Todd worked at Duke University in the Sanford School of Public Policy and as the Chaplain and Interim Headmaster at St. David's School in Raleigh, NC. He is the author of the best-selling book, Before You Leave: For College, Career, and Eternity, as well as Prayerful: How the Scriptures, History, and Experience Can Shape Our Prayers. In addition to traveling the nation speaking in a variety of contexts, Todd is a Senior Fellow at The King's College in New York City, the Presidential Scholar of Christianity and Culture at Dallas Baptist University, a Senior Fellow at Montreat College, and a Senior Fellow for the Center for Faith and Culture at Southeastern Seminary in Wake Forest, NC.
