My name is Teno Myles, and my journey as a storyteller began long before I ever put pen to paper. It started in Dallas, Texas, with the cadence of poetry and the soul of music. Growing up in a single-parent home, I watched my mother work two jobs to support my sister and me, and I learned that the most powerful stories are those of resilience, grit, and unwavering hope. Defeating the odds, I carried those lessons with me from South Oak Cliff High School to Texas Christian University, where I earned a BS in Psychology to understand the 'why' behind our actions. My passion for helping others grow led me to become a teacher and to pursue a Master of Education at SMU. Through years of teaching, mentorship, and my own entrepreneurial endeavors, I've honed my ability to not just observe life, but to distill its most powerful lessons into words. Writing The Principle Advantage was the culmination of this path. My mission is to share the hard-won principles of resilience and purpose with those who need and want better lives for themselves and their families. I believe the most powerful stories are the ones that provide not just inspiration, but a practical blueprint for change.
