Dr. Scott H. Irwin is a renowned global thought leader in agricultural economics and a multi-published author of commodity books. He holds the Laurence J. Norton Chair of Agricultural Marketing at the University of Illinois. His expertise on commodity markets is widely sought after by academics, farmers, and government officials. He grew up on an Iowa grain and livestock farm, where his lifelong fascination with commodity markets began. His many youthful (and reckless) adventures on the farm are featured in his book Back to the Futures. Dr. Irwin and his wife have been married for over forty years and enjoy spoiling their four grandchildren.
