Dr. Michael Aziz is board certified in internal medicine. He completed his training at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and Staten Island University Hospital in New York. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Society of Internal Medicine, and also a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine in the United Kingdom. Dr. Aziz has been a key note speaker at numerous national and international medical conferences, including those organized by the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. He is the founder and director of Midtown Integrative Medicine in New York City, a practice that focuses on traditional, functional, complementary, and integrative medicine. Dr. Aziz has written articles for major magazines and publications including The LA Times, The Washington Post, The NY Post, and The Daily Mail. He has also appeared on hundreds of TV shows nationally and internationally including GMA, The View, The Doctors, and Dr. Oz. He is the author of the best selling book The Perfect 10 Diet which was translated into several foreign languages. Dr. Aziz was one of the early pioneers to go against the outdated low-fat guidelines and to suggest eating more fat to lose fat. It was a very balanced approach before it went into the extreme keto of the 2010's. He was also one of the first physicians to warn the public about the danger of low-carb diets due to all the chemicals, artificial sweeteners, and nitrites. Dr. Aziz lives in New York City.
