Lynda is a parenting expert, not just because she holds a certificate in Life Coaching with a specialism in supporting families, but also because she has dealt with complex issues within her own family. Lynda has raised four children and dealt with childhood diseases, school suspension, suicidal ideation, gender-related concerns, and even human trafficking. She has definitely earned her stripes as a parenting expert. Her first book, 'I Was the Perfect Parent...then I Had Kids,' is followed by her second Confessions of a Perfect Mom. Both help us discover all the potential parenting issues we might encounter and any advice she gives, due to her experiences is given without judgement or criticism as she knows we will all parent in our own style with our own conviction. She sprinkles her own stories throughout the book to help encourage you to know that none of us really know what we are doing, but somehow, if we just try our best, it will all work out. Lynda has completed her third book: Walk a Mile, which is her memoir of parenting a child who was trafficked. This book will resonate with any parent struggling with pre-teens, teens and young adults who are doing all they can to dissociate themselves, especially from the family unit. Helping parents to learn how to be aware of not only the dangers of Sex Traffickers but also spot the nuances of abuse and unhealthy relationships. Lynda gives many tips on how to notice the signs and prevent this increasingly common abuse.
