Kim Perry is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) with a passion for providing compassionate care to patients and their families. She began her journey in healthcare by studying chemistry at the University of Washington, laying a strong foundation in the sciences. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Perry dedicated herself to hospice nursing, where she gained invaluable experience supporting patients and families through life-limiting and terminal illnesses, as well as the challenges of advanced aging. Her commitment to excellence led her to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a focus on Family Nurse Practice from Walden University. Perry is the author of Loving to Death: Self-Help for Caregivers. Throughout her nursing career, she has meticulously documented best practices in caregiving, establishing herself as an expert in providing exceptional care under even the most demanding circumstances. As a keynote speaker and consultant, she shares her invaluable insights, which also shape her work as a Family Nurse Practitioner in rural Alaska. In this role, she continues to make a profound impact on the lives of her patients and their loved ones.
