Dog trainer Kathy Callahan (CPDT-KA, LFDM) specializes in puppies. Her dog training business, PupStart, focuses on puppyhood, and she and her family have fostered more than 250 rescue puppies. Kathy's the author of three books: Old Dog, New Dog, Welcoming Your Puppy from Planet Dog, and 101 Rescue Puppies. In addition to her books, Kathy writes on training and behavior for Whole Dog Journal. Kathy lives in Alexandria, VA with her husband Tom, along with five foster-fails: Mojo the German Shepherd mix, George the Great Pyrenees mix, Kreacher the Chow mix, Clover the lab mix, and Mr. Bojangles, the tuxedo cat.
