This book about making wise decisions is the authors' first collaborative work; watch for more to come! Joy and Ron both hold doctorates in theology. Ron began his varied career by teaching math and chemistry in a rural high school in Wisconsin. Then, he became the principal of a private Christian School. At the same time, he served as interim pastor in churches in Wisconsin and Minnesota. He also enjoyed speaking at local service clubs. From there, he moved on to chemical engineering, and later, when he moved to Iowa, he worked as a financial advisor. Joy dedicated many years to working with international mission organizations in Johannesburg, South Africa, including Campus Crusade for Christ and Stonecroft Ministries. During this time, she enjoyed numerous speaking and teaching opportunities. She was also a homemaker and raised twin daughters and a son. More recently, Joy and Ron owned and operated a Bed and Breakfast in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and a Historic Country Inn in Amana, Iowa. They have traveled extensively, both in the U.S. and abroad. Now, in their retirement years, with children and grandchildren all grown up, the authors are passionately committed to sharing their wealth of knowledge and experience with you, the reader, for your personal growth and development.
