Francisco Sorento is a passionate writer, devoted family man, and lifelong explorer of both the world and the inner self. Born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, on April 24, 1974, Francisco was raised by his single mother and quickly stood out for his academic excellence graduating as valedictorian of Los Alamos High School in 1992, where he delivered the commencement address. Though he was offered a scholarship after graduation, Francisco chose a different path, one led by curiosity and creativity. He spent seven years traveling the globe, immersing himself in different cultures, and honing his voice as a writer. It was during his journey that he met the love of his life in Hawaii. Today, Francisco lives back in New Mexico with his wife, their three children, and a beloved family dog. He begins each morning with meditation and writing, and spends his evenings surrounded by the warmth of family. When he’s not writing, you can find him enjoying his favorite pastimes, reading, yoga, cooking, sailing, and fishing.
