Welcome y'all to my Amazon Author page! The stories I write are set in New Orleans, my stomping grounds since birth. It's an enchanting city with magical nuances like horse-drawn carriages, shady old Live Oaks waiting for a climb or two, fabulous music, and, oh my, the cuisine. New Orleans provides a palette of colorful characters, inspiring headlines, and a culture like none other to spark my imagination! Like most G.R.I T.S. (Girls Raised in the South) I totally dig the history, love the plantations along the river, and enjoy our slower pace of life. Since a child, I have gravitated to the written word, concocting sweet poems to family members and then as I grew I took a plunge into writing short stories for fun. I majored in English in college to go to Law School, but became an Event Designer (a job I took to help with the bills) That small decision turned into a career for over twenty-five years. A most important part of being a creative designer was writing proposals that jumped off the page but accurate. No disappointed clients. Upon retiring, I answered the call of a character that had been living in my head for years and thus the journey began.
