Chris F. Walker is the pen name of Alex Manire, short for Christian Faith Walker—a name that captures both the identity and conviction forged through his personal and spiritual transformation. Once a dedicated atheist, Alex spent the first three decades of his life determined to disprove the Bible using the same tactical mindset he applied in military intelligence. What began as a mission to dismantle Christianity became an unshakable revelation that reshaped his entire worldview. Armed with critical thinking skills honed in real-world intelligence operations and counter-terrorism missions, Alex approached the Bible as a battlefield of claims and contradictions. But line by line, prophecy by prophecy, evidence mounted—not for deception, but for divine truth. The deeper he investigated, the more he was confronted by the overwhelming coherence, historical accuracy, and spiritual authority of Scripture. Alex is a U.S. Army veteran who served nearly a decade as an Infantryman, Recon Specialist, and Military Intelligence Operator. With over 42 months deployed across the Balkans, the Middle East, and beyond, his work spanned joint agency operations, leadership development, and tactical strategy. These experiences forged in him a deep understanding of conflict—both physical and spiritual—and the importance of clarity, discipline, and truth in the heat of battle. Today, writing as Chris F. Walker, Alex brings that same disciplined perspective to Christian apologetics and fiction. He speaks in prisons, recovery programs, churches, and nonprofits, offering truth to the hurting and clarity to the confused. His books blend reason and revelation, inviting readers into a deeper exploration of faith through powerful storytelling and real-world insight.
