Welcome to my Amazon author page. I am an English author of six novels of various genres - women's fiction, crime/murder mystery, and historical. So please take a look at them. I'm sure there will be one that takes your fancy. I currently live in Lancashire with my husband and our young, recalcitrant labrador, Bodie - if you follow me on social media, you will have seen him plenty of times. All of my books are set in England, in places close to my heart. Two are in Manchester, which is where I was born and brought up, and where I worked as a lawyer for a number of years. Two are in Northumberland, my favourite UK holiday destination. I won't tell you how fabulous it is, as I don't want it to be overrun with visitors. An Unfortunate Situation, my historical book, is set in Windermere by the beautiful lake, and my latest book, the Murder of Mrs Chadwick is set in a Lancashire village. Although the village is fictitious, I did have Scorton in my mind when I wrote it. I am currently working on a book set on a remote Scottish island.
