Beth Jones has been teaching the Bible basics for over 40 years. She is a wife, mom, Bible teacher, pastor and author who is passionate about helping new and seasoned Christians connect-the-Bible-dots. As a wife and mom, Beth has been married to her husband, Jeff, for nearly 40 years. Together, they have four adult children and a growing brood of grandkids. As an author, Beth has written more than 20 books, including the popular "Getting a Grip on the Basics" Bible study series which has sold over 250,000 copies and has been translated into over 25 languages. As a Bible teacher, she is the founder of The Basics University where she offers over a dozen online courses and intensives designed for faith-based learning. She distributes her podcast to over 500K followers on the Pray app where she is known for teaching the Bible basics in an easy-to-understand, down-to-earth and humorous way. As a pastor, Beth and her husband, Jeff, founded and served as the Senior Pastors of Valley Family Church in Kalamazoo, Michigan for 32 years. In January 2023, they passed the Lead Pastor baton to their youngest son and Beth and Jeff now serve as Founding Pastors.
