It’s another night on the job for Deputy Sheriff Barbara Mero, giving chase to a suspect in a stolen vehicle. But when someone beats her to the perp, she’s not sure whether to step in or not. Before she can stop him, a sledgehammer-wielding bearded biker on a red Harley delivers his own punishment - but with his parting words, Babs isn’t so sure he’s another bad guy. There’s another side to jolly old Saint Nick, and he ain’t a saint.

Tuffy Claus and Babs are back, and despite Dominik’s protests, his wife is coming along for the ride. Being previously in law enforcement, she won’t be playing the obedient housewife while waiting for him to get home. No, she’ll be out chasing the bad guys as well. Their newest case tests Babs to her limits, making her wonder if she’s really cut out for this. Short answer? Yes. When it comes to the children, she’ll do whatever it takes. But when things quickly take a turn for the worst, leaving Babs on her own, she realizes how important her job really is.

Babs has been adjusting well to life at the North Pole these past couple years. She loves the missions she and her husband Dominik go on to save the children, to where she doesn’t really miss her old life at all. Although elfin magic has taken some getting used to, it does make things a lot more, shall we say, convenient? Especially when hard cases turn up, and they have to rely on help from their friends at Santa Central.
