About this listen

hi guys, here is the creative project i am doing for my english final this quarter!

in this episode i am doing a spoken essay where i analyze Aldo Leopold's The Land Ethic, Lauret Savoy's The Geology of Us, Jennifer Garcia Peacock's Sun Ma(i)d: Art, Activism, and Environment in Ester Hernandez’s Central Valley, and Deborah Miranda's To Make Story Again in the World.

what i found most interesting in this class is how racism driven by capitalism perpetuates the environmental crisis. by looking at the perspective of this intersection from women of color, we can attempt to understand how these complex issues are intertwined. sounds wild but give this episode a listen and you will understand a little bit more ;)

hope you enjoy!!
