About this listen
In this episode, Markus and I talk about our personal experiences with Sadhana/ yoga—what it was really like when we started, and all the mental tricks and resistance we had to face. We share how things like practicing on an empty stomach, committing to long sessions (sometimes up to four hours!), and sticking to daily routines brought up restlessness, resistance, and triggering thoughts.
We reflect on how our minds would constantly try to distract us—making excuses, wanting to cut the practice short, or judging ourselves for not doing things “perfectly.” But through it all, we started to see how yoga isn’t just about the physical practice. It’s about witnessing the mind, letting go of identification with thoughts, and learning to simply be with ourselves—without needing constant entertainment or distraction.
It’s a raw and honest conversation about what happens when you give yourself the space to just be. Can you see yourself in this conversation too?
