    In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa discusses the haunts, history and scary stories of the Skirvin Hilton Hotel in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.


    William Balser Skirvin built a fortune in real estate ventures. He began his ventures being an original 89er in the Oklahoma Land Rush of 1889. After becoming a widow, he decided to build the most luxurious hotel in Oklahoma. He would build the Skirvin Hotel in 1911.


    We will discuss the Skirvin family history leading up to the hotel. We will discuss a deadly incident in 1913 within the hotel And many interesting stories leading up to 2007 when the hotel went through a major renovation.


    Since 2007, the Skirvin Hilton Hotel has amazed guests with it's historic good looks and charm but also with some ghost stories....real and made up.


    Also, find out why NBA players will not stay at the Skirvin or at least why some won't.....

  • Episode 87: Fatal Wounds of Nancy Zanone

    In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa discusses the Nancy Zanone Case from St. Louis, Missouri.


    On December 2, 1963, Nancy Zanone is working on taking care of her two small children and finishing up some laundry. While she works on this, a 15 year old, named Joseph Arbeiter Jr., walks into her home looking for items to steal.


    When Nancy sees Joseph in her home, Joseph lunges at Nancy with a knife; stabbing her twice. He runs out of the home and leaves Nancy wounded.


    This case is riddled with what happens when the justice system only works for the people incapable of following the rules of law.


    We will deep dive into Nancy's life but; also, her perpetrators.

    In this episode of Unexplained America, your host Lisa and guest host Dorothy, will discuss the Murder of Billy Joe Holder.


    On February 9, 1976, Billy Joe Holder (ex-Sheriff and current Agent with the Alcohol Beverage Control Department in Arkansas) was watching television in his living room with his wife June when all of a sudden he was shot by an assailant outside of his home.


    This episode is a deep dive into the actual Arkansas State Police case file. In part 1, Lisa will go over the 60 + interviews and 400 page case file, that led the ASP and the FBI eventually to not just one assailant; but, to the arrest of four individuals for Capital Felony Murder charges.

You can feel the friendship between the two and that they are trying their best to make a great podcast.

looking at the other reviews they say too much banter. I kinda like that myself. It's a new pod and I'm sure they will just get better and better and listen to some of yalls critiques. I think they are growing just fine and it will just get better as they go. Here's to you ladies. Look forward to yall every week.

The content is fantastic

I'd give 5 stars if the banter was significantly reduced. One episode had nearly 20 minutes of side conversation before getting to the story. The Enola and aunt caroline episodes were top notch, though.

Too much banter

Good stories but calm down and get to it. Your stories could be greatly tightened up.
