  • BEING ATTRACTIVE VS. BEING RESPONSIBLE
    Jul 11 2025

    Hey UN•THERAPIST,

We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...

Based on your past decisions in relationships, what has been more important to you:

Someone being attractive or someone being responsible?

Now I know what I've chosen, but that may be why I've ended up with some of the results that I've gotten. It's not a crime to want both of these characteristics in someone, but if you had to choose, which one has reigned more supreme in your life when entering a relationship?

Join us for another UN•THERAPY session as we explore being attractive vs. being responsible, enunciation based on geography, and comprehension vs. exposure.

  • BLACK PEOPLE CONTROL BLACK CULTURE
    Jun 27 2025

    Hey UN•THERAPIST,

We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...

This may be a conversation for the future, but do you believe that their own people should manage each culture?

This question stems from an observation made on two shows: "Pop The Balloon" and "Sinners."

"Pop The Balloon" has become a cultural phenomenon on YouTube, garnering multi-millions of views and also landing them a Netflix deal. Yet, the version of the show that isn't heavily controlled by the culture takes away the essence of what people enjoyed about the show.

On the flip side, "Sinners" was one of those movies that had so many cultural references that you'd have to be a part of the culture or heavily engulfed in it to pick up some of the clues of what was going on.

But how is it that two of the same ideas can translate differently depending on who presents them?

Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE the importance of who tells the stories, discussing the cultural impact of "Sinners" and "Pop The Balloon."

  • DO LADIES RECEIVE COMPLIMENTS AND AFFIRMATIONS THE SAME?
    Jun 13 2025

    Hey UN•THERAPIST,

We need your help UN•THERAPIZING something...

Coach shared with us that he heard a fellow brother state that he didn't believe that women are affirmed enough, and I almost agreed for a moment.

But then Coach posed a question that really had us thinking. The question was...

📌 Do women receive compliments and affirmations the same way?

And to be honest, we had mixed reactions... and some of the UN•THERAPISTs never considered the difference between them.

📌 Is there a big difference?
📌 Are there moments when we were being affirmed, but we misunderstood it?
📌 Are affirmations determined by who's receiving them?

Join us for another session of UN•THERAPY as we UN•THERAPIZE affirmations vs. compliments, pouring into others, & what we can do to keep ourselves replenished.
