What Happens If The Lord Comes Back Right Now? | Ralph Royea | THCC The New Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:27 In this chapter, we read "therefore" four times. These "therefore" statements lead us to four responses that mark our life as believers. We make pleasing God our aim, we no longer regard the flesh as a means of measurement, we share this great news with others, and we represent and work on behalf of the Father Himself. We tend to hold on to the old, whether for sentimental, honoring, familiarity, comfort, or reasons of nostalgia. I am not saying these things are bad, yet we have to put on the mind of Christ and take every thought captive and examine its origin and intent. Our mindsets, consciousness, patterns, and beliefs have been made new. Aligning new desires, goals, passions, possibilities, and what we now value. We have been made new, “behold, all things have become new.” Embrace the newness of God in your life. There are new things and places we can go to, believe in, and receive in Christ.
