  • THC 82: Disney Movie Treats, DCA and Epcot Seasonal Festivals, VR Disney Film Experience, and Re-themed Ride Queues
    Jun 20 2025

Join Erik and Tage this week as they are joined by Andy and Kate as they discuss their favorite meats and treats from Disney Movies that they wish were real, the booths they would design for a seasonal festival at DCA or Epcot, the fully immersive VR experiences based on Diseny Movies that they would like to see, and the ride queues they think should be re-themed. Support the podcast by going to https://www.thehubcrawl.com/support. Question 1: What meal or treat from a Disney movie do you desperately want to be real? For eating purposes, of course. Question 2: If you could design your own booth for a seasonal festival at DCA or Epcot , what country or theme would it be—and what’s on the menu? Question 3: If Disney created a fully immersive VR experience based on any Disney film, which one would you choose and what specific moment or location would you most want to explore? Question 4: What Disney ride queue would you re-theme or plus up to match (or elevate) the ride experience? Bonus Question: What's a resource or amenity of Disney properties that you under-utilize or feel others under-utilize?

  • THC 81: Favorite Live Action Remakes, Attractions for 1981 Disney Movies, a Parks Backpack that Carries Only Three Things, and Disney Parks Vacations for TV Families
    Jun 6 2025

Join Erik this week as he is joined by Olivia, Marie, and Rob as they discuss their favorite live action remakes, how they would turn the four Disney movies released in 1981 into attractions, the three items they would bring on a Disney trip if their backpacks could only hold three items, and what modern or classic TV families they would like to see a Disney Parks vacation episode of. Support the podcast by going to https://www.thehubcrawl.com/support. Question 1: With Lilo and Stitch being a good new live-action remake, what is your favorite or least favorite remake of a Disney animated movie? Question 2: Disney released four movies in 1981: The Devil and Max Devlin, Amy, The Fox and the Hound, and Condorman. Pick one of these movies and develop an attraction for one of the parks. Question 3: You + one other adult are going to a Disney theme park. You are prepared and bring a backpack. However, that backpack can only hold 3 things (not including phone, wallet, sunglasses, and ears). What three items are you bringing with you and why? Question 4: What modern or classic TV family would you love to see do a Disney Parks vacation episode —and what chaos unfolds during the trip? Bonus Question: What was your favorite question from previous shows and how would you answer it?

  • THC 80: Stores in Disney Shopping Districts, Attractions for Tage and Erik’s Trip to Disneyland, Personal Foodie Guide, and Bringing Back Experiences
    May 23 2025

Join Erik and Tage this week as they are joined by Ryan and Olivia as they discuss the stores they wish existed in Disney shopping districts, the attractions they think Tage and Erik should go on first on their trip to Disneyland, what they would put in their foodie guides if they could make their own, and the experiences that don’t exist anymore that they wish they could experience again. Support the podcast by going to https://www.thehubcrawl.com/support. Question 1: I'm going to riff off of a question from a few weeks ago. What is a store that you wish existed in the Disney Shopping district of your choice (Downtown Disney or Disney Springs)? Question 2: Which attraction should Tage and Erik experience first on their trip to Disneyland in July? Question 3: Disney has put out an insane amount of foodie guides in the past couple of years. You get to make your own foodie guide/foodie booth - it has to have a snack, "main" (think like food and wine festival), drink and dessert. These can be items already in the park in general, past foodie guide offerings, your faves in normal life etc. Question 4: What is an experience that doesn't exist anymore that you would like to do/do again? Bonus Question: If you had to pick one attraction from any Disney theme park that best represents the Disney brand as a whole, what would it be and why? What elements / attributes / emotions come to mind when you think of the brand and how does the attraction relate to those?
