Like James, have you ever pushed into Biffy?

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week was busy on the show, with two F1 stars, a comedian and three competitions!

Jenson Button came into the studio to tell us about his ambassador role at Williams Racing and chat about his life as a motorsport champion. We heard about his experience winning the 2009 World Drivers' Championship and about how young he felt leaving the support of an F1 lifestyle and having to go into the world as an independent adult.

James Vowles also joined us this week where he shed light on his incredible career of almost 25 years in the F1 industry. He told us about the inner workings of Williams Racing and what life is like as the team principal of such a prestigious team.

Maisie Adam joined the team early this week to talk about the lack of public engagement with women’s football. She even sang us a few chants she wrote from her new chantbook she made in collaboration with Greene King ahead of the women’s Euros.

The 25k box has been opened!! Lucky caller Sam came on air and guessed the artist: Fall Out Boy, instantly winning himself the £25,000, his reaction was priceless!

Lots more to keep you entertained:

    • Dom and Captain cycle 500m
    • Toby’s voice note
    • Surgeon squirted

    Enjoy!

  • Dom’s holidays in Cap d’Agde, Captain’s Cub and Whitehaven’s sinkhole #501
    Jun 27 2025

Does French spoken in a Brummie accent get you going?

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. There were no guests on the show this week, just some questionable impersonations of Noel Edmonds and Kate Nash instead.

The team spoke about the news of Brownhaven sinking deeper into a hole… literally, it has a sink hole. This then led to further discussion about why Whitehaven breeds such great goalkeepers.

With the lead-up to Glastonbury, Captain spoke about his campervan which, if we’re honest, is just a Transit van with a shower hose stuck to the back. We also spoke to friend of he show, Rosie who was already there bright and early on Thursday with her (con)Dom flag flying high above camp.

Four weeks in and still no winner of the 25k Box. All contestants walked away with a grand each in their pockets, apart from one incredibly lucky man (of course it was another bloke, still no female callers) who won an enormous five thousand pounds!

Here’s some more to to keep you entertained:

    • Chris watering his plants
    • Dom’s holiday plans
    • Captain’s Glasto schedule

    Enjoy!

  • The FIVE HUNDREDTH PODCAST – with 'special intro' full of guests! #500
    Jun 20 2025

Whoop whoop! It’s the 500th episode of the podcast!

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week we learned more about Dom’s swinging friends and Chris received a special gift in the post from Mr Will Smith.

Rob Rinder was on the show this week to talk about his newly released book, The Protest. Through his usual witty humour, he told us about his orchestral conducting skills and his role as an honorary Colonel.

Who Are You? returned this week! After a lot of incorrect guesses, Chris and Dom finally figured out that the man in front of them was one of the best drummers (and also maybe chiropractors) of all time!

The 25k Box continued this week with four lucky listeners walking away with £1k and one with £2k, but alas, still no winner of the big cash prize. However, there is finally a clue for next week!

    But wait! There’s more!

    • Oasis merch unboxing
    • The team’s previous radio jobs
    • Dom’s water butt

    Enjoy!

  • Bryce Dallas Howard and Orlando Bloom, Will Smith, and Reverse Words #499
    Jun 13 2025

Surely it’s not just me, it smells like apple crumble in here right?

Welcome back to The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week James enlightened us about Cumbrian wedding culture and Toby came up with a game totally different to Dom’s terrible one last week (really different…)

Orlando Bloom and Bryce Dallas Howard came onto the show to chat about their roles in the hilarious new crime-comedy, Deep Cover. Howard gave us some fun facts and Bloom spoke about the time he was dressed as an elf in London.

The one and only Will Smith also came onto the show to chat about an array of things, from his new single to his favourite aftershave. He also told us about his new tour, where he will be performing across the UK and world.

Boy George came in too, telling us about his new vinyl-exclusive reggae album, the time he met Frank Sinatra and more!

The 25k Box continued this week, with five more people having a go at unlocking the box and getting the cash. Four of them walked away with a grand, and one lucky chap started his Friday morning by winning not just one grand, but THREE!

There’s loads more packed into this episode too:

    • Adam Brown rescuing cats
    • Morning breakfast orders
    • Brownload festival

    Enjoy!

    Jun 6 2025

Is it just me or does James sound like Joe Root?

Welcome back to The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week, Chris showed us what it sounds like to do a radio link with retainers in, and we found out more about what Captain gets up to in his spare time.

We saw the relaunch of the 25k Box this week, with 5 lucky listeners having a stab at guessing the secret artist to win some cash. No one guessed the artist correctly, but everyone who took part got a grand. Gits.

We also had the wonderfully gifted clairvoyant and medium, Clinton Baptiste on the show. He spoke about his upcoming tour and presented the team with some haunting predictions.

Oh you want some more do you!? Well you’ve come to the right place!

    • James sacrificing cows
    • Dom’s excruciatingly bad game
    • Chris sings a bit of Queen

    May 30 2025

Are you a clueless motorway middle lane hogger?

Welcome back to The Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. On the first week of the show without Pippa, we had smashed bottles and scheduling issues.

Jackie Chan and Ralph Macchio came onto the show to talk about the newest instalment of the Karate Kid franchise. Jackie Chan spoke to us about the multitude of injuries he has had over the years.

Tom Daley flew in from LA and popped into the studio to discuss 1.6, his new documentary covering his life in and out of the pool. He spoke with the team about his family, new clothing line, and what it’s like to be a retiree at 31.

And finally, we took a trip down memory lane, listening to songs from everyone's first Now That’s What I Call Music albums. Our boss Devo would not approve, but luckily for us he was off work this week… I think we got away with it!

If it’s more laughs you are looking for, look no further!

    • Captain’s voice changer
    • James trouserless on a plane

  • Alex Horne, Richard Ashcroft, and Pippa’s final week #496
    May 23 2025

And now, the end is near, and so I face the final curtain…

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week, we said a-goodbye to our brilliant Executive Producer Pippa. She’s off to go and turn up the feel good with the lass from Britain’s Got Talent and the bloke from Police Interceptors.

Humphrey Ker, Executive Director of Wrexham A.F.C, came in to chat about the 4th series of Welcome To Wrexham. He told us about their plans for the club, his experience with fans, and also cleared up a few transfer rumours…

Friend of the show Alex Horne dropped by to chat about the latest series of The Horne Section TV Show. The last time Alex was on, he revealed that there’s only one Taskmaster contestant he didn’t like working with. Unfortunately, we still don’t know who, but it turns out his comments caused quite a stir…

With two bottles of Champagne in clutch, Richard Ashcroft gatecrashed Pippa’s final day celebrations to chat to the team about his first new music since 2018! He also told us all about his upcoming summer supporting Oasis on their reunion tour.

And of course, we had a few things up our sleeve for Pippa’s last day…

“What else can I expect from the podcast?” I hear you ask! How about you mind your own damn business??

    • Chinese Trump
    • Captain Crapbeard sounds like Rachel Reeves
    • WhatsApp Messages

  • Alex James, Simon Pegg, and Brownload Festival #495
    May 16 2025

Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week, we learnt that Captain Crapbeard’s karaoke song is Don’t Mug Yourself by The Streets. Oh, and we launched a new radio station. No biggie.

It was great to hear from Chris Kamara, who joined the team to chat about a really important cause. He’s partnered with Andy’s Man Club and Drinkaware to raise awareness of an increasing amount of people using alcohol as a coping mechanism. And of course, Chris had to ask him a few football related questions whilst he was there… Remember, IT’S OK TO TALK! Check out andysmanclub.co.uk if you were affected by any of the issues discussed in this interview.

Friend of the show Alex James (off of Blur) came into the studio to talk about Big Feastival, which is now in its 14th year! Despite performances from Faithless, Travis, The Wombats, and many many more, Alex decided that the selling point of this year’s Big Feastival was Barrioke with Sean Williamson. Hard to disagree with that…

On the eve of a big premiere, Hollywood star Simon Pegg sat down with the team to discuss his role in the new Mission Impossible film, using his daughter as an excuse to talk to cool celebs, and Oasis.

Yeah, thought so. YOU ALWAYS WANT MOOOORE!!!

    • James sings a Robbie Williams song
    • Brownhaven update
    • Captain plans a date with Tony Blackburn

    Enjoy!
