Great Podcast

Started listening to this being brand new to 40k lore. For me it’s the video games that got me interested. John and Brad do a great job covering the 40k universe and are pretty entertaining too. Highly recommend if you don’t know where to start with the lore.

Fun to listen to, but super vague

Vague.
I assumed, being new to 40K, this would be a good way to jump in. Unfortunately, although John and Brad are very outgoing and entertaining to listen to, they are very vague. I'm still not entirely sure what a lot of the "basic" lore is.
For example I still don't understand if STCs are a program, a drive, a robot, a spirit...?.
I also don't understand if the Warp is a drive, a different dimension, a ship, a black hole, or something else entirely. John and Brad just assume that you'll understand how things function, for example saying "the Warp is now a tsunami". I never explaining why it is "a tsunami". Seems like a fun show to listen to, but only if you already know the lore.
Would recommend the Lorehammer podcast instead.
