• Asking For A Friend: How Could a Good God Send People to Hell? (1/5)
    Jun 30 2025

Let’s be honest—sometimes we have questions that feel too awkward or embarrassing to ask out loud. So, we hide behind the phrase, “just asking for a friend.”

Most people know it’s really our question, but saying it that way gives us a little cover in case it sounds silly or uncomfortable. The same thing often happens in church. We hesitate to ask tough questions about faith because we don’t want to seem foolish or unspiritual.

In this next series, we want to put an end to that, and for the next five weeks we are going to be in a series called Asking for a Friend. We will be looking at some of the tough questions of the Christian faith and trying to answer them from Scripture.

This week Pastor Jeff Moes leads the discussion from a question we’ve all had at one time: “Why would a loving God send people to Hell?” We will dive into why God would create a place such as Hell and what the purpose behind it was. Even more importantly, we’ll talk about how you and I can have confidence that we’ll never end up there.

  • Who Am I?: When Normal Isn't Working (4/4)
    Jun 23 2025

As we finish our "Who Am I?" series, Erich Erdman leads us as we take a look at 1 Peter 2:11–12. Peter was writing to a group of believers who were scattered and suffering for their faith in Jesus. Yet despite the persecution they faced, he didn’t urge them to withdraw or hide from culture—but instead to step in and be a redemptive force within it.

Today, we’ll explore two important questions together:

    • What is the Christian’s identity in culture?
    • What is the Christian’s impact on culture?

  • Who Am I?: When Your Good Doesn't Feel Good Enough (3/4)
    Jun 18 2025

If we're honest, many of us live our lives trying to make sure we aren't the “weird Christian.” We want to make sure that what we believe doesn't impact who we are. Ridiculous, right? The reality is though, that many believers live that way- maybe you included! It can be hard to figure out how our faith intersects in our world, and we often work to preserve our old selves and our reputation along the way. But the series we have been in has been a study in how Christians are called to the exact opposite of that. We have studied how, in Christ, we are a new creation. We are a masterpiece, set apart, for the good work that God has prepared for us.

So how do we live in to that? Pastor Lydia Miller leads us to study our marching orders from Jesus, our call in Matthew 5 and how you and I are in to live in light of His words.

  • Who Am I?: Your Most Important Assignment in God (2/4)
    Jun 9 2025

Have you ever noticed that many Christians don’t know who they are in Christ? As a result of not knowing who they are—they don’t know what to do.

We’re currently in a series called “Who Am I?”, where we’re exploring the importance of grounding our lives in our identity in Christ. Our goal throughout this series is to help you understand who you are in Christ—because when you know who you are, you’ll know what to do.

This Sunday, Pastor Jeff walks us to discover what it means to be an ambassador for Christ. We’ll be studying Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 5:17–21, and through this passage, we’ll uncover the calling and appointment Jesus has given each of us.

We are ambassadors for Christ, and we represent Him.

  • Who Am I?: When I Don't Feel Good Enough (1/4)
    Jun 9 2025

Do you ever feel like you're just not good enough — like you don’t quite measure up? We have. That’s why we're excited to launch a brand-new series this Sunday called “Who Am I?”

Over the next four weeks, we’ll explore what it means to find our true identity in Christ. Because let’s be honest — when we place our identity in things like our job, appearance, or finances, it never truly satisfies. There’s always someone who seems to have more, do more, or be more.

This Sunday, we’ll kick off the series with a message titled “When You Don’t Feel Good Enough.” We’ll look at Ephesians 2 and discover how God has created each of us — just as we are — to be His masterpiece, designed to reflect His glory.

  • Promises: When You're Tired of Being Tired (6/6)
    May 27 2025

Tune in as Erich Erdman finishes up our Promises series, looking at the promise of Jesus to find rest. The truth is, we live in a world where people sleep less than ever, rely on more caffeine than ever, and research shows the average American spends over 1,500 hours a year just feeling tired. Rest? It almost feels like a myth.

But Jesus offers us something real—something deeper than sleep or escape. Let’s turn to His words together and discover the true rest only He can give.

  • Promises: Finding Freedom From Your Worries (5/6)
    May 19 2025

Last week, we looked at the peace “willed” to us by Jesus. Though, I would argue that sounds like something all of us would love to have, it can be hard to attain. How exactly do I experience perfect peace, and what in the world do I do with all my worry in the meantime?

Well, Jesus gave us instructions for just that! Not only did He will us His peace, but He gave us direction on what (and who) to look towards if we struggle to find it.

This week, Pastor Lydia Miller is going to teach about the promise from Jesus that we can experience freedom from our worries. We will study Matthew 6:25-34 and take a look at how you and I can practically invite in the peace of God, and free ourselves from the worries that overwhelm us.
