About this listen
Most real estate team leaders are guessing when it comes to how many agents they actually need to reach their income and profit goals. In this episode, Christian Subbs breaks down the exact formula he used to scale Onyx Homes to over 700 homes sold and $650M+ in volume in just 5 years—without burning out or bleeding cash.
You’ll learn:
- The benchmark GCI you should expect per agent
- Why separating your own production from the team’s is critical
- How to calculate your ideal (and minimum) team size using real numbers
- The biggest mistake most team leaders make when scaling
- Why relying on “superstar” agents isn’t a scalable strategy
If you’re tired of growing by gut feeling and want to build a profitable, sustainable real estate business, this episode is for you.

If you don't know who I am, here is a bit about my background. My name is Christian Stubbs and I own and operate my Team, OnyxHomes.com.
Here is how I got here:
June 2019 - started in the business
January 2020 - started my team
First 2.5 years of me selling I sold $50m in volume and made over $1m GCI.
In 2022 I stopped selling and started focusing on growing my team.
Since then, I've grown the Team to over 60+ Agents.
In the 4.5 years since we started our Team, we've sold 600 homes for over $500m in sales volume.
I made this channel to help others learn the very expensive lessons that I've learned so you can make more money in your real estate business. If you find this stuff helpful, share it with a friend.
See you in the next video,
