About this listen

Stop, Drop & R.O.L.E. (Reflect, Observe, Listen, Evolve) is a podcast designed to support you, the leader - with or without the title, at the intersection of work and home. Whether you're leading a team of 5, 500 or just yourself - each episode offers insight to making choices when the stakes are high and you can't afford uncertainty.

Your host, Jen Cáceres - created Stop. Drop. and R.O.L.E. - a unique, six-step journey for coaching through every day decisions, taking healthier risks and getting out of your own way as a leader. She is a Gallup-certified CliftonStrengths and executive coach with nearly 15 years of experience in the real world where sometimes - we have to “put out the flames” to get out of our own way and grow.

Jen's personal stories and experience bring authentic questioning and ideas into your space with examples of how to utilize the 6 steps right away. Whether you're working on something at work, or home, walking through it is easy and impactful from the very beginning.

In her early career she was a career coach to unemployed and underemployed, as well as veterans transitioning back to the civilian workforce. For 10+ years she enjoyed an executive role in a corporate construction setting - coaching and working alongside executives, and mid-level managers before creating her own business, Perpetual Capacity Coaching & Consulting, LLC. in 2023.

Today, as a successful entrepreneur, podcast host, and soon to be published author, Jen utilizes her real-world experience to walk you through leadership, helping identify when change is necessary, how/when to take action, and grow from each step along the way. She focuses some episodes on construction, but overall covers leadership pain points like engagement, talent acquisition, & cultural fit - and topics from career transitions, working with difficult coworkers or managers, setting boundaries, and working through feeling stuck to move forward.

This show is designed to help you find balance, ask the hard questions, and take action to keep moving in the direction you want to go - ultimately guiding you to work and live at your perpetual capacity.

  • When The Team Has Outgrown Your Leadership Style
    Jun 30 2025

Sometimes we think we're leading effectively, but truth be told - we're commanding and controlling. We unknowingly keep our teams and leaders stuck.

What's worse, is that we're teaching them that that type of leadership is effective.

    But we're in 2025... not 1985.

This week’s Stop. Drop. & ROLE episode, “When Your Team Has Outgrown Your Leadership Style,” is a must-listen for anyone who’s ever said:

“That’s just how I was trained.” “It worked for me…” “This is how we’ve always done it.”

But what if what got us here… won’t get us there?

In this 30-minute solo episode, Jen walks through each stage of the ROLE method - Reflect, Observe, Listen, Evolve to help you:

✔️ Let go of outdated leadership habits

✔️ Stay relevant in how you guide your team

✔️ Relate better to today’s workforce

✔️ Rewrite your own leadership style to keep up with the changing generations

Real stories. Reflective questions. Practical insight.

Listen, and then share with someone else who you think could benefit from hearing it too.

  • Cracked Open in Leadership with Guest Michelle Moffitt
    Jun 23 2025

In this powerful episode of Stop. Drop & ROLE, I sit down with Michelle Moffitt - therapist, coach, author, and trauma survivor as she shares her personal and professional journey of breaking free from a past that taught her resiliency and grit in life and work. Michelle opens up about how she reclaimed her voice, her gut instincts, and her life, and how that transformation now fuels her work with women who are rediscovering themselves at work and in life.

She is the author of Cracked Open: A Journey to a Resilient and Independent Mindset - a raw and relatable book available wherever you get your favorite reads.

Michelle is professionally trained in healing and growth modalities including the Gottman Method, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Narrative Focused Trauma Care, The Mindsight Institute, Neuro Mastery, and the Integrative Enneagram.

Together, we explore the four parts of ROLE—Reflect, Observe, Listen, and Evolve.

Michelle emphasizes the importance of self-reflection, observing our behaviors, re-learning how to trust our gut (especially after being "gut-washed"), and stepping into our leadership with presence and purpose.

Her message is a vital reminder to shift from being a human-doing to a human-being - and lead from a place of self-awareness, compassion, and authentic connection.
