  • Avalanche Post Mortem - E26
    May 14 2025

We are back after a small break, life happens and it's best to always take care of yourself first!

We dive into the Colorado Avalanche, post first round exit. The Avs lose the series 4-3 against the Dallas Stars and many questions surround the future of the team. We quickly breakdown areas where the team fell flat during the first round, before moving on to the massive return of Gabriel Landeskog! The discussion flips to what Landeskog returning could mean for the Avs in the future (this off-season) and whether Chris McFarland is the right person for the job. A brief talk about what the Avs might target this offseason and we wrap things up with some quick notes on other happenings around the league throughout round 1 and 2.

In the East Toronto used the power play to dominate game 1, while the Canes played their steady game in an opening win. The young Habs showed grit in a comeback verse Washington, but the Caps prevailed in overtime. Vancouver Canucks held an end of season press conference and lots came out of it.
