Rejoicing in Answered Prayer

Psalm 27 is a heartfelt declaration of trust and confidence in God amid fear and adversity. David begins by proclaiming the Lord as his light, salvation, and stronghold, expressing that he has no reason to fear even in the face of enemies or danger. The psalm reflects a deep desire to dwell in God's presence, seek His face, and find refuge in His sanctuary. Despite opposition, David remains confident in God's protection and ends with a call to wait patiently for the Lord, encouraging courage and faith in His timing.

As we celebrate Pentecost Sunday today, we study the famous Psalm 23 which is filled with so much treasure in every phrase and verse. I was joined by Priscilla Ampratwum, Barbara Owusu and Morgina Arku at the beginning of the recording.

Verses 1 to 7 talk about the benefits God will give His friends (you are His kings) while verses 9 to 13 gives a grotesque imagery on how God will destroy His enemies.
