  • 73 year old is 1 week Post Op from a Deep Plane Facelift "There is such thing as aging gracefully, with a little bit of help"
    Apr 14 2025

She was very frustrated with her facial aging and is now very pleased and now believes that she looks now like how she feels!

Looking at her before and after pictures she now sees vibrance in herself.

She says that she now looks like she is in her 20's which got Dr. Claytor laughing with her!!!!

She now feels vibrant and happy.

She felt that being "awake with the tumescent anesthesia" gave her a better appreciation for the entire process.

"The OR surgical team was GREAT. Friendly and lighthearted and made me feel comfortable"

Her submandibular glands were small and were not necessary to be removed for a sculpted jawline.

She says "The feeling of wanting to be a little more youthful. There is such a thing as aging gracefully but you can also age gracefully with a little bit of help"

  • Tummy Tuck & Breast Lift: 43-Year-Old Shares Her Experience & Results 3 Years Later!
    Apr 14 2025

Check out just a few of this patient's inspiring quotes from this episode:

"I started Kick Boxing and do 200 crunches per class."

"I think of Dr. Claytor several times a week because I am so strong and powerful."

"We do jumping jacks at the beginning of class, and now my boobs don't flop around anymore."

Many of Dr. Claytor's procedures provide functional benefits as well! This lovely 43-year-old patient is 3 years post op from her tummy tuck and diastasis recti repair. She also had a mastopexy which is also known as a breast lift.

She came in to see us for a follow up and shared with us how she has started Kickboxing. She loves how strong her core is during her classes where she does upwards of 200 crunches. She feels stronger now than she has ever before in her entire life. She has no pain during her kickboxing, and if anything, she feels stronger and more solid in her core. This is a result of the tightening of her rectus diastasis during her tummy tuck procedure.

We are so happy for her and how she has changed her own life since her surgery!

    Transcript

    Dr. R. Brannon Claytor: 0:00
Our gorgeous patient, who's 43 years old, comes in. She's three years out from her abdominoplasty and repair of her umbilical hernia and a breast lift and she has shared with us something so fascinating that we want to share with all of our patients.

    Patient: 0:17
So Dr Claytor has inspired me to start kickboxing. I have been kickboxing for about six months now and we do approximately 200 different crunches throughout the duration of the class, plus just the physicality of moving your body when you're throwing these kicks and punches. And I told him that I think of him several times a week when I'm in class, because I am now capable of not only doing these crunches but doing them well the whole time, and I just feel so strong and powerful and we do jumping jacks at the beginning of class and my boobs don't flop around anymore, so yeah, I feel good, I feel great.

    Dr. R. Brannon Claytor: 1:00
So, to those out there who aren't as familiar with kickboxing and crunches, what does a crunch mean?

    Patient: 1:08
So with a crunch, I mean you're always using your abs when you're moving your body and especially when you're doing any sort of karate or kickboxing moves, because you're twisting and you're punching and you're kicking.

    Patient: 1:19
But as part of our warm-up and just to get into better physical shape, we're doing these crunches and so we're laying on the floor and I mean most people are probably familiar with the typical crunch that you do, where you just put your hands behind your head and kind of suck your belly button to the floor and breathe out and move your body up. But we do something called crucifix abs, which is when your body is literally laying in like a crucifix T-shaped position. You lift your head slightly, you keep your arms out at either side of you and then you lift your legs repetitively off the floor the whole way up to a 90-degree angle and then back down to about 10 degrees off the floor. And we do 100 of those per class in segments and I sweat and groan the whole time but I do it and I feel how strong my core is when I'm doing it.

    Dr. R. Brannon Claytor: 2:13
Wow, were you doing these before our surgery?

    Patient: 2:17
No, I've never done those before. I had done plenty of ab exercises in the past before kids before I needed this surgery and I was not nearly as good or as strong and capable of doing it. Before children. No, I am much more stronger in my core now than ever before in my life.

    Dr. R

  • Deep Face and Neck Lift at 70: Just ONE Day Later! | Post-Op Recovery Update
    Jan 31 2025

It's barely been 24 hours since her surgery, and yet she already says, "I would totally do this again."

Our lovely lady who is 70 years old shared her thoughts during her 1 Day Post Op visit. She was apprehensive leading up to surgery and now feels totally great. She underwent a Deep Plane Facelift and Necklift surgery in our private AAAA Surgical Facility under Tumescent Local Anesthesia.

On her first post-op day, we have all patients come in to have a check up. We remove the surgical dressings and review her post op care instructions, which include details on showering and dressing changes. Since none of our patients have drains, there is no cumbersome drain to care to have to worry about. She will be back in the office next week to have her sutures removed.

She feels great, and we're glad to hear it!
