  • Garden Echoes Week 1: God Continues to Pursue a Fallen Humanity
    Apr 7 2025

We kicked off our Easter Series by looking at how God's heart has always been to live connected with the humans that He has created. At the beginning of the story of God, we see a scene of humans in a garden where they opt out of living life defined by God and attempt to be like god and define life for themselves. This has fractured our world and that choice plays out over and over throughout humanity. But God continues to pursue fallen humanity longing to provide a path back to the garden where we can live connected to Him. Over the next several weeks we will see these themes carried through the story of scripture, through the life and death of Jesus, and God's final hope for the world. Discussion:

    1. What is a relationship that has been deeply meaningful for you? What characteristics were present in that relationship (kindness, love, being understood, etc)

    2. What did you appreciate about today’s teaching?

    3. What was a challenge for you today and what steps will you take with that?

    Practice: Community

    1. Identify a follower of Jesus and invite them to do something in the next week or two.

    2. Identify a person who doesn’t follow Jesus and invite them to something in the next week or two.
