I love these games. Not really the games themselves, but the purpose of the games. I often turn on a radio broadcast of a late game to help me fall asleep, but I pay attention to them more closely than I should when I want to go to sleep. The fact that these games aren't real, but sound like they could be, makes it easier to just let myself drift off to sleep.

When I was a kid, my dad would bring his battery powered radio on camping trips and we would have the ball game playing. This is such a great idea and podcast. Personally it’s a little slow paced but I just knock the speed up to 1.3x and it is great.

These games transport you to an imaginary place that is fascinating …but… somehow insanely relaxing. I try to make it to the later innings to hear what shenanigans take place but I can never make it! Love their gear too - I got an awesome t-shirt for Christmas this year. Keep it coming Mr. King!

I love this series. Listening to fictional baseball radio to fall asleep is something I didn’t know I needed. I have to keep a 30 minute timer to not get too attached to a game if I can’t fall asleep.

The entire broadcast is what is great: pregame, silence between pitches, commercials, random background noise. But it’s all monotone like nothing is exciting. Perfect to drift off in bed.

Looking forward to what’s coming next year.
