  • 19- How Can I Help Other Women? A Real Talk on Rebuilding, Motherhood & Resilience with Tanya Davis-Ezidinma
    Jul 7 2025

What happens when your life shatters in ways you never imagined? Tanya Davis-Ezedema knows that feeling all too well. From facing domestic violence while raising her son as a 22-year-old single mom to building a household name, Tanya's early motherhood journey was marked by one painful challenge after another.

But when she found her 10-year-old son sobbing over a pile of mismatched socks after his father had disappeared yet again, something profound shifted. That moment of heartbreak became the catalyst for transformation that would eventually touch countless women's lives.

In this powerful conversation, Tanya shares how she navigated the seemingly impossible balance of building a career while parenting alone, eventually climbing the ranks to leadership at one of the world's busiest airports. Her professional success, however, was just the beginning. The wisdom forged through her struggles led her to create Butterfly Rising Institute, a movement dedicated to helping women transform their pain into purpose.

Now married with a second son born 22 years after her first, Tanya offers unique perspective on motherhood across different life seasons. She challenges the myth of work-life balance, instead teaching women to focus on what she calls the three pillars: career, communication, and cash. "It's not about juggling everything perfectly," she explains, "but understanding what needs priority in that moment."

Whether you're a single parent, a working mom struggling with guilt, or simply feeling overwhelmed by life's demands, Tanya's story reminds us that our breaking points often become our breakthrough moments. As she beautifully puts it: "Through chaos comes change." Her virtual program, Butterfly Haven, creates space for women to breathe, connect, and find clarity amid life's most challenging seasons.

Join us for this raw, faith-filled conversation about resilience, redemption, and the beauty that emerges when we embrace our stories—even the painful chapters. Konnor Lanker's story will stop you in your tracks. When doctors diagnosed her first daughter with hydrops—a rare, life-threatening condition with fluid building up in her baby's body—at 31 weeks pregnant, Konnor's journey into motherhood became one of medical uncertainties and deep faith. Doctors performed an experimental treatment using poppy seed oil that had only been tried once before at their hospital, with unsuccessful results. The miracle that followed changed everything.

Now 35 weeks pregnant with her second daughter, Konnor found herself facing the impossible again: the same diagnosis doctors said had virtually no genetic likelihood of recurring. Yet within weeks of beginning community prayers, the condition mysteriously cleared from scans. These medical journeys have shaped Konnor's perspective on motherhood, faith, and what truly matters.

Beyond medical challenges, Konnor opens up about balancing motherhood with her pursuit of cosmetology school, creating a career that allows flexibility to be present for her children while still contributing financially. She shares how becoming a mother transformed her priorities and deepened her relationship with God in ways she never anticipated.

What resonates most is Konnor's intentionality about building a home where faith is woven into everyday moments—from playing worship music to praying multiple times daily with her spirited toddler Hallie, who now faithfully prays for her baby sister. Konnor's legacy of faith, passed down from her grandmother and mother, continues as she raises daughters who understand that faith isn't just a Sunday commitment but a way of life.

Whether you're navigating your own medical uncertainties, juggling education with motherhood, or simply trying to find purpose in the beautiful chaos of raising little ones, Konnor's story reminds us that we don't have to do it alone. • 17- Hold Fast: Cradling Grief and Joy with Widow and Mama Mallory Moseby
    Jun 23 2025

    Send us a text

The weight of unimaginable loss meets the light of unwavering faith in this powerful conversation with Mallory Mosby, a young widow raising two daughters after losing her firefighter husband Harrison to cancer.

Mallory's love story with Harrison was beautiful but brief—they fell in love quickly, married, and welcomed their daughters Kollyns ("strength") and Gracelee ("hope") in quick succession. Then cancer changed everything. Through pregnancy, delivery, and raising a toddler, Mallory stood beside Harrison during his brave fight, learning lessons about love and faith that transformed her forever.

What stands out most in Mallory's testimony is her conscious choice to embrace joy even while grieving deeply. "I have two choices," she explains. "I can be bitter or I can choose joy." This isn't toxic positivity—Mallory openly acknowledges the loneliness of widowhood, the challenges of single parenting, and those mornings when grief hits unexpectedly hard. Yet she continues finding purpose in raising her daughters to know both their earthly father's legacy and their heavenly Father's love.

Listen as Mallory shares about completing a marathon to honor Harrison's memory, how she's creating new family traditions, and what it means to have a relationship with God that evolved from occasional bedtime prayers to constant conversation throughout the day. Her journey reminds us that strength often looks like simply showing up with shaky hands, that grief and joy can coexist, and that even in our deepest pain, we are never walking alone.

Whether you're navigating loss, raising children solo, or simply trying to trust God through difficult seasons, Mallory's story will remind you that hope remains alive even in life's darkest chapters.
