The Tennessee Titans took Cam Ward #1 overall with the hope he could change this franchise forever and that is exactly what he has the potential to do. Things would need to break right more than just Cam being a great player, but that is the hope Titans fans now can have. Hope should be high for Kevin Winston and Femi Oladejo as well. While both will take some time, superstar territory is where both have the ability to approach. Finally, the Titans have a chance to get three long-term starters out of this draft class from the Day 3 group and just one of the weapons blowing up would make it a solid hit.

The Tennessee Titans selected Cam Ward to be their franchise quarterback, but recently said Will Levis will get equal reps to the rookie in a competition. Ignore the nonsense, Cam Ward will be QB1 in 2025 and that's all he needs to be because while he could one day save the franchise, his supporting cast dictates he just needs to show he belongs. In terms of immediate impact, the Titans Day 2 crop admittedly doesn't jump off the screen. Both Femi Oladejo and Kevin Winston will require patience and that will be demonstrated in their role in year one. Finally, Gunnar Helm will be the rookie that has the biggest impact outside of Cam Ward because of what he can do to help Ward and the hole the offense presents for him to fill.

The Tennessee Titans drafted Cam Ward #1 overall and rolled out the red carpet to greet their franchise quarterback. But now, general manager Mike Borgonzi is at the press conference saying that Will Levis will be competing with Ward for the starting quarterback job and that just makes zero sense. Tyler believes Will Levis will ultimately be moved in some capacity before the season begins despite the team saying they did not try to trade him during the draft. Also, the Titans acknowledged they will decline Treylon Burks fifth year option while giving some insights on some draft prospects. Finally, while some Titans fans are frustrated with the Titans draft class, the outside world seems to be praising the Titans efforts.

The Tennessee Titans drafted 9 players this weekend in what is meant to be a culture setter for the new era of Titans football, but with that comes a level of patience and fans need to see that these moves were with the future in mind, not 2025. Because of that, this draft gets a lower grade for right now, but a higher grader for 2026. Cam Ward is the belle of the ball in this class obviously, but for good reason and that's why the pick gets an A. However, the end of Day 3 was certainly a mixed bag even if the start was incredible.

The Tennessee Titans wrapped up Day 3 of the NFL Draft after having a fantastic day of adding players. The Titans added multiple weapons including wide receivers Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor, tight end Gunnar Helm and running back Kalel Mullins. That is how you support your young quarterback in Cam Ward. Also, the Titans added cornerback Marcus Harris and interior offensive lineman Jackson Salter who bring great value to their position groups.

The Tennessee Titans started Day 2 with a BANG trading down with the Seattle Seahawks and then they turned those two picks into HIGH POTENTIAL players in Femi Oladejo and Kevin Winston. Oladejo needs some development, but his natural gifts and size make him a great pick. Kevin Winston is coming off of a torn ACL, but he has first round talent and can immediately be a tone-setter for the Titans. Both of these picks show that the Titans are looking towards the future more than 2025. Some may not accept that, but it is the right thing to do! The Tennessee Titans made the first pick of the NFL Draft, taking Cam Ward, but then they sat back and watched the rest of the first round unfold. Now, the Titans have the third pick on Day 2 and it is as important to their future as the first overall. Luther Burden, a dream target for Titans fans, still remains on the board, but Mike Green might actually be the troubled prospect the Titans want. Finally, the Titans are in a great position to make a few trades on Day 2 and the board fell in a great way.

The Tennessee Titans selected Cam Ward, quarterback out of University of Miami with the #1 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. Ward will now be asked not only to be the Franchise QB, but to lead a new era of Tennessee Titans football that will hopefully change the standing of the franchise forever. Expectations are already sky high. Ward bring dynamic playmaking, a talented arm and incredible character to an offense that desperately needs improved quarterback, but Ward is not perfect. He will need to make improvements at the next level to become the player Titans fans hope he will be. With Ward secured, now the Titans look to support their rookie quarterback and signing a veteran like Tyler Lockett along with additions in the draft is exactly how to do it.
