Kim McPhail Podcast

By: Kim McPhail
  • Summary

  • In this podcast I will mainly be concentrating on the dangers of religion in public and private life, and that of separation of church and state. Also will be discussing the biggest issues of today, mainly being that of fascism. This podcast is for all the resisters of fascism here in the United States, as well as for those questioning their religion, those who have left religion, or those who are agnostic, atheist and/or secular humanist. Regardless of what country you are from, if you are any of the above listed, you are welcome here.

  • Dead Brains and Divine Claims: Science Ruins the Vibe Again
    Apr 24 2025

Ever noticed how the stuff Christians really want you to believe--miracles, the afterlife, invisible sky judges--can't actually be tested, proven, or even mildly verified by science? That's because, according to them, it's all "outside time, space, and reality." Convenient, right?

In today's episode, we break down why "just believe!" doesn't cut it, how near-death experiences are more brain chemistry than divine Uber rides to Heaven, and why we shouldn't have to live under laws built on someone else's unprovable fantasy novel. Strap in--this one might raise your blood pressure AND your IQ.

  • Baptized in B******t: My Exit from Baptist Guilt Trips to Godless Peace
    Apr 22 2025

Tired of being guilt-tripped by Jesus and gaslit by Christianity? Same. This episode dives into my deconstruction journey from Christianity--specifically the Baptist brand of "holy" hell--and how I clawed my way out and into freedom. (aka atheism, where Sundays are for naps and not sermons).

Expect spicy commentary on Baptist doctrine, the emotional damage it left behind, and the awkward aftermath of trying to heal in a world still drunk on Jesus juice. IF you've ever felt like church hurt worse than hell, you're not alone.

  • Miracle? More Like Magic Trick: Exposing Faith Healers (and Bible Claims)
    Apr 21 2025

Ever seen a guy in a shiny suit wave his hands around, scream "HEALED!" and suddenly someone who was totally wheelchair-bound five seconds ago is jumping around like they just won the lottery? Yeah... me too. Welcome to the magical world of faith healing, where the only real miracle is how many people still fall for it.

In today's episode, I show you exactly how these modern-day miracle-workers pull off their holy hustle, using good ol' sleight of hand, emotional manipulation, and a whole lot of bad acting. (Seriously, some of these performances wouldn't even make it into a church play.)

Then we take a stroll back to the Bible to look at Jesus' "miraculous healings." Spoiler alert: there are zero non-biblical records of any of those healings. Not one. You'd think if a dude was out here curing blindness and raising the dead, someone besides his fan club would've jotted that down, right?

Also, quick reminder from a previous episode--Jesus didn't die for your sins. He died because he broke Jewish law and pissed off the wrong people. Blasphemy, heresy, political drama--the works. The Romans just happened to be the ones with the torture device. So maybe stop romanticizing the cross... it's not exactly a heartwarming love story.

If you're ready to laugh, rage, and maybe question everything you were taught in Sunday school, hit play. To view the previous video I recently did you can click on this link:
