Jacksonville, Alabama is a sleepy little college town located in the foothills of the Appalachian mountains. Bad things don't happen in this kind of town, so when two young women go missing (Linda Faye Croft in 1970 and Rebecca "Becky" Howell in 1982), it turns the campus community upside down.
