Hi, I’m Janaya Hunter, and I’m excited to be a part of this space where I can share encouragement and resources with families. My husband and I are blessed to have four wonderful kids, all six and under, and we’re honored to homeschool them. With a background in Social Work and Early Childhood Education, I’m passionate about supporting moms and families as a community-based doula and dance teacher in the Metro Detroit area. Family is everything to me, and I love everything that brings people closer together. Starting my own family was truly the icing on the cake. Parenthood, though, came with its surprises! Right from the start, we had twins, and life as we knew it was completely turned upside down. But, through all the bumps and changes, we’ve found our rhythm. Our cozy, screen-free homeschool journey has led us to create a space for families seeking more unplugged moments with their children. We hope to inspire and support others who are looking for a simpler, more connected way of life.
