About this listen
Kingdom Culture Phoenix exists to disciple people to know and follow Jesus through Word and Spirit.
This week, Pastor Eric dives in to how when we grow in our relationship with God and worship Him rightly, we experience His power, presence, and deliverance. Worship is our portable theology—it declares what we believe about God based on His Word.
🔑 Key Takeaways:
✅ God Is a Warrior (Exodus 15:3)
- The first truth declared after Israel’s deliverance is that God is a “man of war.”
- We don’t apologize for God’s power—He fights against sin, bondage, and evil.
✅ Why We Need God to Be a Warrior:
- Sin: Sin can’t be managed—it must be destroyed. The cross was a violent act of war; the resurrection was victory.
- Bondage: Like Israel in Egypt, we can't free ourselves. God must go to war to release us.
- Oppression: The enemy attacks through wounds, lies, vows, and strongholds. God overcomes spiritual forces that hold us down (Eph. 6:12).
✅ Worship Reflects God's Victory (Exodus 15:4–5)
- God hurled Pharaoh’s army into the sea—a picture of baptism.
- In baptism, our sin and the enemy’s work are buried. It’s an act of war and worship.
✅ God’s Right Hand Shows His Power and Faithfulness (Exodus 15:6–7)
- God doesn’t just promise deliverance—He executes it with power and finality.
✅ God Moves Supernaturally (Exodus 15:8–10)
- He parts seas, defeats enemies, and sets us free—not just in the natural, but supernaturally.
- When we call on His name, the God of war fights for us.
Takeaway:
You can worship for the deliverance you need—and worship for the deliverance you’ve already received.
God is not passive He is present, powerful, and victorious. Worship Him as the warrior who delivers.
