God of Miracles - Part 1 - Miracle of Ten

  • Summary

  • God of Miracles

    Part 1 Pastor David King

(Psalms 77:14 TLB) You are the God of miracles and wonders! You still demonstrate your awesome power.

    • In every story of need, there is a miracle of provision.
    • When God guides, He always provides.

(Isaiah 58:11 NIV) The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.

    • God’s provision is always there when we are obedient to His will.

    Why the first ten percent?

(Luke 21:1-4) 1 As Jesus looked up, he saw the rich putting their gifts into the temple treasury. 2 He also saw a poor widow put in two very small copper coins. 3 “Truly I tell you,” He said, “this poor widow has put in more than all the others. 4 All these people gave their gifts out of their wealth; but she, out of her poverty, put in all she had to live on.”

    • Where do I tithe?

(1 Corinthians 16:2) On the first day of every week each one of you should set aside a sum of money in keeping with your income, saving it up, so that when I come no collections will have to be made.

(Malachi 3:10) Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

    • Give your heart direction.

(Matthew 6:21) For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
