About this listen

 The Great White Throne Judgment of Revelation 20:12-15, marks the final event prior to the arrival of the New Heavens and earth. It is the time when the dead, i.e. those whose names were not written in the book of life were judged.

It is a picture of the last encounter withthe Lord who sat on the throne and the people of the old covenant. The Lord is the righteous judgment. All judgment had been committed to the Son. The Lord and the apostles spoke of the imminent judgment about to come in their day. See Matt. 16;27, 28, Acts 24:14-15, 25, 26:22, 23, 2 Tim. 4:1; Pet. 4:17, Jas. 5:7, 8.
