Nikki's parents are Greek immigrants so she spent a lot of time in Greece growing up. Beekeeping is a respected occupation in Greece and the traditions are strong. The honey Nikki's company Portoula imports relies on a traditional nomadic beekeeping method. I really enjoyed talking with her and hearing her fascinating story.
