  • Episode 9 - Jennifer's Story
    Jun 23 2025

In this episode, I’m joined by Jennifer, a psychotherapist and advocate with Ectopic Pregnancy Ireland.

Jennifer shares the deeply personal story of her ectopic pregnancy in 2007, when at just 8 weeks, she collapsed at home and was rushed to hospital. It was a traumatic and life-threatening experience.

After her ectopic pregnancy, Jennifer faced years of fertility struggles. She moved towards IVF in 2009, and during her treatment prep, she was diagnosed with complications that were later treated. In a beautiful turn, she went on to conceive naturally.

We talk about the emotional and physical toll of ectopic pregnancy, how grief shows up differently for everyone and she shares how she became involved with Ectopic Pregnancy Ireland.

This is a really honest, vulnerable conversation, full of heart and healing. I’m so grateful to Jennifer her openness and strength in sharing it.

💛 As always, if you’ve been impacted by ectopic pregnancy or any kind of pregnancy loss, please know you are not alone.
