This episode is the first in a series celebrating the audiobook release of Irish Mythology: The Children of Danu, available exclusively from Audible.
Over three episodes I'll share the first three chapters of the book, recounting the arrival in Ireland of the Tuatha Dé Danaan.
In the introduction to the book, I explain how the Irish Mythological Cycle tells of six invasions into Ireland. The first four are extremely sparse and briefly told, so I recount them in the prologue before moving on the fifth invasion, that of the Tuatha, in Chapter One, which is read here by Aidan Kelly.
